Domino's trolls Darwin Nunez

Liverpool striker yet again delivered another disappointing performance this Monday. This time it was against Brentford when he missed some easy chances of scoring a goal. Already getting lots of trolling and hate, this time Darwin Nunez was trolled by Domino’s Pizza.

Nunez is one of the most expensive signings in the history of the Premier League. There were lots of expectations with him when he was signed but he hasn’t lived up to the expectations yet.

The Uruguayan striker missed an open goal chance which made fans angry. Further, once he did put the ball in the net it was ruled offside. The player is constantly underperforming and is getting brutally trolled on the internet.

Sorry if we missed any orders tonight, we’ve just had this guy (Nunez) start: Domino’s

After missing the sitters which cost Liverpool defeat against Brentford 3-1, the fans were furious. This wasn’t the first time as Nunez has been in poor form for quite a time now. In one shot, he almost hit the corner flag after which fans said that the Reds striker is playing golf. After this Domino’s Pizza took a dig at him on social media.

Post-Brentford, Domino’s Pizza share his photo and wrote

“Sorry if we missed any orders tonight, we’ve just had this guy start”.

This post has been viewed and shared by millions now and is making headlines.

Can Nunez overcome his failures?

Darwin Nunez was bought for a massive 85 million Euros from Benfica. There were lots of expectations with him that he will be a good replacement for Sadio Mane. However, the Uruguayan hasn’t lived up to its name yet. In 13 Premier League matches he has 5 goals and 2 assists. Furthermore, the striker has missed 15 chances this season which is the most by any other Liverpool player this season.

Liverpool are clearly struggling in the finishing department right now. Alongside this, the Reds have developed a habit of conceding goals as well.
