Liverpool making huge steps in Contract talks

Liverpool are moving in a positive direction in contract renewal talks with their star defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, who’s their vice captain.

The new deal is expected to include a substantial pay rise, bringing Alexander-Arnold’s salary closer to that of Liverpool’s top earners, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

There were huge concerns about the potential allure of La Liga giants like Real Madrid and Barcelona, but the negotiations between Trent and Reds are going in a positive direction.

The English Right-Back

Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has been with Liverpool ever since joining their academy in 2004, which is a huge factor that he should stay with the club.

The new Dutch manager Arne Slot, Liverpool’s head coach, sees him as the natural successor to Van Dijk as team captain.

Despite rumours and links from Real Madrid, particularly in the name of his close friendship with the Madrid star Jude Bellingham, Trent is not believed to be pushing for his exit from the club he loves so much.

Other Contract situations

On the other hand , there has been a little movement in negotiations with the winger Mo Salah and Van Dijk, who are also in the final year of their contracts with Liverpool.

Salah, in particular, remains a target for the Saudi Pro League, and his future at Liverpool is less certain.

Nevertheless, the good news for Liverpool fans is that all three players Mo Salah, Van Dijk and Trent are expected to be on the pitch against the Liverpool’s friendly against Sevilla.
