Liverpool are making contact with Leeds United to sign Raphinha. The Brazillian winger wants to leave the club. And according to reports, Leeds is ready to let the winger go at a £17million discount.

Liverpool are at top of their transfer game.

The club wants to bolster their squad and go all in for all the trophies next season.

They have already signed Nunez and Carvalho. And are also keeping an eye on other world-class players available in the market.

Liverpool Made contacts with Leeds to sign Raphinha

Raphinha, a Brazilian international, has been linked with Liverpool, with Leeds United reportedly giving a £17 million discount.

Mirror Sport reported two weeks ago that Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing the Samba star, with a £60 million price.

The Whites have cut their asking price to 50 million euros (£43 million), according to a report in Sport today.

Moreover, according to the Spanish news outlet, Liverpool have made contact in an attempt to entice the 25-year-old winger away from Elland Road. But the player has his heart set on a move to the Nou Camp.

Even though, Leeds United are now willing to accept a £43 million sum due to the player’s choice and constant pressure from Barcelona. The Catalan giants, on the other hand, are hopeful that Raphinha will persuade the Premier League club to lower the price even further.

If Leeds were relegated to the Championship, the former Vitoria attacker would have been available for just 25 million euros (clause). They made it to the final day of the season, much to the chagrin of Barcelona, who had planned to sign him under the cheap clause.

The Reds’ attack

Liverpool are hoping to bolster their attack.

Moreover, Liverpool should sign a winger to replace Sadio Mane. As Mane is very close to leaving for Bayern Munich (Sky Sports).

Darwin Nunez will mostly play through the middle as an out-and-out striker. And we should not rely on Diaz and Salah in the wide attacking positions for the entire season.

We had no genuine cover during the last campaign when the Egyptian was out of form for months. And Klopp continued to start him. Should Liverpool buy a winger to strengthen their depth, in your opinion?
