Liverpool confirms their two pre-season friendlies in a few weeks

Liverpool are all set to play pre-season friendlies including a match at Anfield and the dates of the fixtures are also confirmed.

Now as the UEFA Nations League is over, players will be joining their new or old respective clubs after a short break for the pre-season training. The transfer window for Liverpool has been satisfactory as they have signed some talented young stars.

Some players who have been a part of the Reds like Sadio Mane and Divock Origi will be leaving the club for their new journey with their respective clubs. There are still questions going about the future of some players like Takumi Minamino and Alexander Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Meanwhile, along with the friendlies, Liverpool will play the 2022 Community Shield against the Premier League champions Manchester City at the King Power Stadium which is home to the Premier League team Leicester City.

The Liverpool friendlies including Anfield

As all the players of Liverpool are enjoying their summer break, they will have to return for the pre-season which is only a couple of weeks away.

Liverpool have announced that they will be visiting South East Asia as they will be playing their first friendly on the 12th of July in Bangkok, Thailand against Manchester United. Later they will be playing another friendly in Kallang, Singapore on the 15th of July against Crystal Palace.

After returning from South East Asia, they will play a match in Germany against RB Leipzig on the 21st of July before they play Strasbourg on the 31st of July at Anfield.

In between the friendlies, after the Reds will return from Germany, they will face Man City for the 2022 Community Shield on the 30th of July.

In all of these friendlies, there will be a lot of key players involved for the Reds like Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay. Thus, it will be interesting to see how the German boss makes them fit into the squad and how the players gel up with the newcomers.
