Liverpool may see a new sponsorship coming on their shirts from the start of the 2023-24 season. The current deal with Standard Chattered who have stayed the Main Sponsor since 2010, is set to end after next season.

As per reports, Standard Chattered insist that talks are ongoing with the club, for extension but nothing is confirmed.

Liverpool has a variety of options for, New Sponsorship deal

Crown Paints, Candy, Carlsberg, and Standard Chartered have all been on the front (sponsorship) of Liverpool shirts in the past. This time the Reds may be about to add a new name to the list.

With its current sponsor, in which the club lifted its first Premier League trophy will always remain an ‘iconic one’.

The deal initially was worth £20million per season, but now when times have changed Liverpool expects a good £40million per season, from one deal alone.

Since no deal is yet signed between the parties, it is reported that The multi-national could put its resources elsewhere.

Opportunity for a new ‘market player’ to enter

As there is currently no agreement, Liverpool may well look for new ‘names’ that could sponsor the Liverpool Shirt.

No one would want to miss the opportunity to tie up with Liverpool, over a multiyear lucrative contract.

The owners are looking to get a deal, which would see them earn huge, just like the NIKE deal(Kit-Manufactures). That deal is said to be worth £100million, and brands would not shy away from even such big budgets.

Leading Brand

Many leading brands and companies who are in and around the football circuit, should be in a position to put their names on the famous Redshirt.

They would be keen on ‘bagging’ the deal considering the recent success of the club as well under Manager Klopp. As the club got its first Premier League trophy in 2020, they have won the UCL and recently the EFL CUP.

Getting any sponsorship deal with Liverpool is a big achievement, plus the ‘shirt could work wonders’ for both the Parties.

As Jurgen Klopp continues to enhance the quality of the club on the pitch and FSG off it, this could be the ideal time to sign a new jersey sponsorship deal.
