Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo has liked a recent tweet suggesting that he is on his way to a move to Liverpool.

The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with the Merseyside giants over recent months, as they search for a dynamic midfielder. His latest Twitter activity is suggesting he is waiting for the English side to sign him.

Moises Caicedo teasing Liverpool

His recent social media activities are enough to worry if you are a Brighton fan. He liked a tweet “Go ahead champion….Liverpool awaits you….”. This is not the first time Caicedo liked a tweet related to LFC. Recently he provoked excitement among Reds fans when he liked Cody Gakpo’s recent unveiling at Anfield on Instagram.

Of course, this could lead to nothing at all or the 21-year-old is too excited to join the Anfield clan. The Ecuadorian didn’t express his feelings to leave Brighton. But on the other hand, it’s impossible to not be fascinated by the English side considering their need for a quality midfielder. Whatsoever the case maybe but these likes does denote the player’s interest in the English giants.

Midfielder’s shocking market value

The current Brighton midfielder prices have been slashed from £85M to £65M. Both Liverpool and Chelsea appear to be the two sides most determined to include him in their squad.

That seems a bit too much considering the 21-year-old only has just 24 Premier League appearances. But that’s the market condition. The Merseyside giants need a quality midfielder and he could be an excellent signing.

Liverpool are in desperate need to sign a midfielder in this January transfer window. They are currently in 6th position with the Top 4 at stake. The addition of Cody Gakpo has resolved their attacking problem to some extent. Now the Reds main point of concern is the middle of the park.

Enzo Fernandez, Jude Bellingham, Mathus Nunes, and Thuram are some of the names with whom Liverpool are linked within the current transfer window.

Is Moises Caicedo the final piece of the puzzle?
