Klopp’s two conditions that can see Liverpool re-enter the transfer market

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has pointed out two conditions that can see them re-enter the transfer market.

Liverpool has had quite a successful transfer window.

They were able to sign 3 young players with great potential. And the fee they paid for them was also not inflated. And above that, most importantly, they were able to extend the contracts of veteran James Milner, one of the best in the world, Mo Salah.

Though Salah has not agreed to really long contract, it is what the Reds’ needed. The contract will cover the prime of Salah. And also, they didn’t want to end up losing both Mane and Salah in a single window.

Jurgen Klopp’s conditions to re-enter the transfer market this summer

Manager Jurgen Klopp claims that Liverpool won’t add any more players this summer unless they are compelled to.

Since making the headline-grabbing acquisition of Darwin Nunez in the middle of June, the Reds’ window has been pretty quiet.

And unless there are unexpectedly significant late developments, Klopp believes he is content to keep his team together.

He said to SkySports:

“Unless we have injuries or player sales, no, we have our squad. I don’t talk about these things (potential sales), you know that.”

Depending on the individual and team performance, the deal that brought Nunez from Benfica to Anfield could increase to a club-record £85 million if certain add-ons are reached.

In addition, Liverpool has brought in young players Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen and Fulham, respectively.

Sadio Mane’s transfer to Bayern Munich represents a significant sell. But Mohamed Salah’s signing of a new three-year contract put an end to rumours regarding his future.

Although Klopp’s team appears to be up and running, rumours continue to circulate. And they most recently have shown interest in a move for Sporting CP midfielder Matheus Nunes.

Martin Terrier of Rennes has also been part of the discussion. As Roberto Firmino’s future at the club is up in the air.
