Klopp summons a “fantastic” 20-year-old to Liverpool training ahead of the PL opener

20-year-old Liverpool sensation has been called up by Jurgen Klopp to join the training session before the first PL clash of the season.

In preparation for a significant Premier League season, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been putting his players through a challenging preseason.

In the preseason, the Reds took on teams like Manchester United and RB Leipzig, as well as Manchester City in the Community Shield.

After defeating Pep Guardiola’s team, Liverpool were able to squeeze in a friendly match against Strasbourg the following day.

The way that the preparations have gone in front of another campaign that aims to win awards will undoubtedly satisfy Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool was in contention for an unheard-of quadruple last season right up until the very end.

They ultimately won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, narrowly missing out on the Premier League and Champions League.

The Reds did add players like Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho to their ranks. And they now appear to be as powerful as ever.

To the satisfaction of the Anfield crowd, Mohamed Salah’s contract with Liverpool was extended even though Sadio Mane left.

The Reds’ first match is against newly promoted Fulham. Coincidentally, the team’s last EPL win come up against Klopp’s team in the Premier League.

Photos reveal Van Den Berg joining Liverpool training session before the first PL clash of the season

The Liverpool media team posted photos from their most recent training session at Kirkby on Thursday.

Prior to Saturday’s trip to London, Sepp van den Berg took among the regular first-team players.

After spending 18 months on loan at Preston, the Dutchman is back at Liverpool. And he even took part in the clash against Strasbourg.

On the advice of Pep Lijnders, Van den Berg also traveled with the preseason team.

The “amazing” 20-year-old has only been for Liverpool’s first team in four competitive games so far.

And considering that Bournemouth is reportedly keen on him, he might go out on loan once more.

He is now below Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez, and Joel Matip in the pecking order.

He stated his intention to “become even better than Virgil van Dijk” earlier this year.

Although he still has a long way to go, he is unquestionably headed in the right direction.
Van den Berg appears to be still on Klopp’s mind, though.
