Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has found out his replacement for Trent, Joe Gomez would start instead of the right-back. This comes after Trent Alexander-Arnold remains sidelined due to a ‘hamstring injury’ and will miss the upcoming game against Watford.

Joe Gomez has important ‘shoes’ to fill, as the upcoming matches are the ‘build-up’ to crucial games ahead for Liverpool.

Klopp ‘trusts’ in Joe Gomez, in the absence of Trent

Jurgen Klopp would look towards English-man Joe Gomez and give him the opportunity in the upcoming two games. Joe who has been an ‘integral’ player for Liverpool in the past, has ‘all’ to play for in upcoming matches.

Although the centre-back, is having a ‘below-par’ season, he will look to bury that in the past and perform with ‘confidence’ when given the opportunity.

The Reds will miss the services of their ‘original’ right-back for another two matches. Trent is expected to join the team after his rehabilitation for ‘hamstring’ only around April 10th against Man City.

Liverpool mean-while will try to stay strong ‘at the back’ until then. Putting up a stellar show against Nottingham Forest in his previous game, Joe would look in ‘good confidence’ to Start.

The “incredible player” of Jurgen Klopp

Manager Jurgen Klopp had gone on and spoken about his Squad Depth and Joe, a month ago

It’s really unlucky for Joe, absolutely. When Joe played for us, he consistently played on an incredibly high level, one of the best centre-halves in England for sure. But then the big injury came, little injuries came on top of that, COVID came now. There was really bad timing, he continued…

The quality of the boys, and especially of Joe, who played obviously not enough football in the last few months – is ‘Incredible’

To get chances regularly in the team and to continue the ‘dream’ of playing for Liverpool Joe will have to prove his worth. These upcoming games could play a ‘big part’ in deciding Joe’s future at Liverpool after this season.
