Klopp might already have an answer to Liverpool midfield problem

Klopp might already have an answer to Liverpool midfield problem

The Liverpool midfield seems to have some problems. Looks like Jurgen Klopp already has an answer to this. There could be problems with finding the right combination and also about the squad rotation.

The main reason for the worry or concern about the midfield is due to the present injury crisis. Harvey Elliott has been out on sustaining an ankle injury against Leeds United in September. Thiago Alcantara suffered a calf injury the following week.

Fabinho who plays a vital role in the defensive midfield region is knocked out due to a knee issue. James Milner is out after the outing against Manchester United and now Naby Keita is also struck.

Though Liverpool boasts about the brilliant squad they have, there are certain problems they need to address. Especially when you are playing 4 competitions, you need to be consistent throughout.

Liverpool midfield might be in trouble

Klopp has a solution to Liverpool midfield problem

One of the biggest missing factors is that of Gini Wijnaldum’s departure. Ever since he left Anfield, there is a sense of void to be filled. He was one of their key players who contributed a lot. Thus, Thiago Alcantara was bought as his replacement.

However, despite all these hurdles and circumstances, The Reds have always shown up. They have embraced all the challenges that have come their way and results show it. The linkage between the Liverpool front trio has been the main reason for their success.

The treatment room now seems to be busy undertaking medical activities for injured players. Liverpool will be thinking about whether their midfield players have had to deal with more workload. Still, the rotations are happening.

In the midst of all of this, Jurgen Klopp feels he still has the solution to deal with this problem. Finding the correct balance and maintaining composure will be the key. The Reds will be hoping for their midfielders to be back at the earliest.

It is certain that Thiago or Fabinho will be back for the Champions League clash against Atletico on Wednesday. Whoever comes first, Klopp will want them to stick around longer. After a lot of rotation, Klopp would want his ideal midfield combo back.
