Graeme Souness has been marveled at Mohamed Salah and his form as the former Liverpool player explained how highly he rates the Egyptian.
The Reds showed how good they are once again even without their main man as they cruised to victory against Bournemouth on Sunday.
Since Salah is away with Egypt at the AFCON, the Reds have continued their fabulous form in the league.
The world-class attacking talent that Klopp has in his ranks has yet again proved to be handy. Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez were clinical for the Merseysiders in front of goal.
However, with Mo Salah still to return to the starting XI, the fans could only imagine how good the Reds could be.
Although there was an injury scare, it was revealed last night that the Egyptian is returning to Anfield.
However, it’s not set in stone yet that he will remain at Liverpool. The possibility of him returning to the African tournament hasn’t been ruled out.
Graeme Souness praises Liverpool player, Mohamed Salah
While talking on talkSPORT, the former Liverpool midfielder explained how highly he ranks the Egyptian.
“He turns up every game. He turns up every season and they win stuff. I can’t believe how good he is at Liverpool.
He was at some Swiss club, Basel, then Chelsea, then to Fiorentina, then to Roma and you think he is a 15-goal-a-season man and now he has gone to another level. You have to talk about him as one of, if not, the best striker Liverpool have ever had. And that’s Roger Hunt, Ian Rush, Kenny, Suarez. He is up there with those guys and they were all worldies.”
Undoubtedly, Salah has been one of the best transfers for Liverpool and his mere £34m fee feels like a bargain. He has been one of the best wingers in the league since joining the Reds.
