Here is the Liverpool team news as they prepare for another clash against Arsenal. The Reds will travel to the capital to play the first leg of the semifinals in the EFL Cup.
Jurgen Klopp’s men previously travelled to the capital earlier as they played Chelsea in a battling 2-2 draw. It was an intense battle in what looked like Liverpool’s game initially. The Reds had the upper hand when Mohamed Salah made it 2-0 for Liverpool.
The lead was then destroyed as Chelsea came back strongly into the contest pulling one back and then equalizing. The game at Stamford Bridge thus, ended all, square as both parties shared a point each. However, Klopp’s boys played positively and will look to do the same in this game as well.
In the previous encounter of the EFL Cup, the Reds had a bitter outing against Leicester City. The game ended in an enthralling 3-3 draw but they managed to overcome the Foxes in the penalty shootout. It will be interesting to see how Jurgen Klopp’s side manage in the last four.
