Liverpool are reportedly close to signing the Moroccan midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat from Serie A side Fiorentina, after signing the Japanese international, Wataru Endo.

Although the Reds signed the 30-year-old Japanese midfielder, Klopp is yet to truly replace Fabinho. The holding midfield position is yet to be filled by the German after the Brazilian’s exit.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then Liverpool are closing in to hire the services of Fiorentina star, Sofyan Amrabat. Moreover, the reports also state that the player is willing to accept a move to Anfield.

The 26-year-old is not just targeted by Liverpool but also by Manchester United and Atletico Madrid. However, if the reports are to be believed, the Moroccan is willing to choose Liverpool over Man Utd.

Liverpool close to signing Sofyan Amrabat?

Reports from the Netherlands indicate that the Moroccan international is on his way to sign for the Reds.

As per Algemeen Dagblad, Liverpool are on track to finalize the signing of Amrabat in the coming days. Neither Man Utd nor Atletico Madrid are close to the signature of the Moroccan.

The news source have mentioned that earlier, Viola agreed on a fee worth £30m with the Hammers. Moyes wants to replace Declan Rice but the Atlas Lions star rejected the move.

So, Liverpool would have to splash around £30m to secure the signature of the World Cup 2022 superstar. The midfielder helped Morocco earn fourth place in the competition.

Amrabat broke onto the European scene at Utrecht under current Man United boss, Erik ten Hag. So, it would be a huge coup for Klopp to get this signing done.

With Klopp and Co. signing Endo, the Reds’ faithful would be hoping that their club would add more reinforcements.

The Moroccan would be a huge addition for Klopp. Moreover, the defensive midfielder would be a great replacement for Fabinho.
