Liverpool’s kicked-off pre-season, as Klopp, overseeing a 26-man squad that also includes numerous players from the academy. However, the German is now to welcome the remaining Reds on their extended break after the last season.
Liverpool will make a trip to the far east for their pre-season games against Manchester United and Crystal Palace on July 12 and July 15 respectively.

Virgil Van Dijk is one of those players yet to start pre-season training at AXA training ground. However, the center-back is eager to start off things from where he left off. The Dutchman on his Instagram post quoted “ready to get back now and enjoy the new season”.

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho and his wife Rebeca Tavares have announced they’re expecting a baby boy. A video post by Rebeca’s Twitter account says: “LITTLE FAB IT’S COMING!! we are delighted to announce that we are expecting our baby boy, Israel.”
Meanwhile, the Brazilian isn’t the only one to share a big announcement this week, as Fabinho’s Liverpool teammate Diogo Jota announced his engagement to his partner and childhood sweetheart Rute Cardoso.
