Liverpool beats Inter Milan 2-1 in the round of 16 and are through to their fourth quarterfinal of the UEFA Champions League in five seasons.

However, Liverpool fans would have to wait until March 18th, Friday to find out their opponents. The only other team to have qualified is Bayer Munich, who beat RB Salzburg in the round of 16. The other last-16 ties take place on Wednesday, and next week.

There are no restrictions on the country and Liverpool can face Chelsea and Manchester City. The Reds can also face PSG and Manchester United. However, The Reds might face Manchester City thrice, considering Liverpool will face them in the Premier League. The Reds might face them four times, if Liverpool draw City in the FA Cup.

Liverpool’s possible Quarterfinal opponents in the Champions League

Bayern Munich
Sporting / Man City
PSG / Real Madrid
Chelsea / Lille
Villarreal / Juventus
Benfica / Ajax
Atletico Madrid / Man United

Of the remaining teams, Liverpool fans would loathe facing PSG/Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, or Chelsea. Every other team is fair game. If Liverpool were to face teams like Benfica, Ajax, either Manchester United or Atletico Madrid and Villareal or Juventus; Liverpool should feel confident in conquering them. Let’s just the Reds have an easy road to Paris, as we are fighting on four fronts.
