Liverpool have a busy few days ahead of them, both on and off the pitch. Speculations have emerged that Ruben Amorim is linked to Manchester United as well.
Liverpool have a chance to move closer to securing two additional trophies this week. Their journey begins with a crucial match against Atalanta in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final at Anfield.
Next up, Jurgen Klopp’s team will be playing another match at home this weekend. They’ll be facing Crystal Palace on Sunday with the goal of regaining the top spot in the Premier League.
Amorim Dropped Manchester United Hint
Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim is in the front seat for taking charge of the Reds, but on the contrary, he’s also been targeted by arch-rivals Manchester United.
Speaking in November, Amorim said:
“I have an idea for the end of the season but I won’t say it now. But the results and the context take us to something different. I don’t want to be commenting on these things. I have not been contacted by Manchester United.”
Amorim Agrees To Liverpool Deal
Despite constant efforts from The Red Devils, it seems that Liverpool have succeeded in clinching the deal for Ruben Amorim sources from Germany claim that.
The final talks are yet to be done by Sporting, Amorim has also been linked to talks with Bayern Munich, the German Giants who look forward to replace their boss Thomas Tuchel.
Ince Slams Salah
Besides all these talks former Liverpool and Man United star Paul Ince has claimed that Mo Salah is not a world-class player, after the draw against the Red Devils.
Ince’s say on Salah,
“I think his record speaks for itself. Is he a world class player, technically? I wouldn’t say so. “I think sometimes when he cuts in on his left foot, putting balls into the box, they are not great. But as far as a world class player scoring goals and making things happen, I think yes.”
