Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seen training with Premier League rival during the post-season break

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is busy preparing for the pre-season, as he was seen preparing with Premier League Rival. The midfielder is expected to be at Anfield for the final year of his contract.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was always destined for big things.

The former Arsenal man was supposed to be Klopp’s most lethal weaponry.

Klopp’s trust in him is evident from the fact that he was signed for a fee of £35 million. And despite all his injuries, he kept counting on Alex.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was thought of leaving Anfield. It came after a challenging campaign that frequently resulted in his exclusion from Jurgen Klopp’s matchday squad entirely.

However, reports suggest that he will instead play another season on Merseyside since Liverpool are not expected to acquire a new midfielder this summer.

Of course, things could change between now and September 1. However, as things stand, Oxlade-Chamberlain will be a Red for the 2022–2023 season.

He is expected to return to the AXA Training Center on July 4 for the start of preseason practice. And he appears to be getting a head start as he joins players like Adam Lallana, Nat Phillips, and Jordan Henderson in Portugal.

However, Oxlade-Chamberlain has been training with a different Premier League player while at Quinta do Lago’s The Campus facility, as he revealed on Instagram on Friday.

The 28-year-old was training with Leicester playmaker Jame Maddison.

Moreover, he is currently working under the movement specialists Alex Parsons. Alex Parsons is a really successful instructor. He is currently providing his expertise to other footballers such as captain Jordan Henderson.

Parsons, himself, is a footballer. He came through the ranks at Bournemouth before returning to his native West Sussex, where he currently plays for Worthing.

His role for the players is to build and maintain their strength during the off-season. Moreover, he is making Chamberlain ready for day 1 at Kirkby.
