The Premier League title race has now once again become a two-horse race between Liverpool and Manchester City, while the Manchester United legend Gary Neville comments on the attacking threat that both the teams carry.

Recently, Manchester was painted in Sky Blues after the Champions defeated their arch-rival by 4-1. Moreover, just as the scoreline suggest, Pep’s side were extremely dominating throughout the game.

Meanwhile, a tweet was also posted by Footy Accumulators about Man City’s domination.

Post-Match, in “The Gary Neville Podcast”, the 47-year-old also compared the attacking side of both Manchester City and Liverpool.

Liverpool have “better front players” than Manchester City says Gary Neville

Sitting at the apex of the table in the number of goals scored in the Premier League this season (71), Liverpool can be termed as one of the most entertaining teams to watch out across Europe.

Moreover, the Reds are ahead by 3 goals when compared to the PL goals tally of the Citizens this season. While Man City have also played a game more than Liverpool.

Thus, the Sky Sports pundit claims that Liverpool have a much better attack than their title rivals. Speaking in his podcast, the Englishman said

Liverpool have, I think, the better front players in their squad and in their team, I really believe that.

You look at Mane, Salah, Firmino, Jota, Diaz and Origi. I think there are six players there that really are a massive threat. Three or four of them are out of this world and a couple of them are world-class.

And that makes them a real threat towards the end of the season.

Currently, Man City are clinging at the top of the Premier League table having a lead of 6 points. But, Liverpool still have a game in hand and by winning that Klopp’s side can reduce the deficit to 3 points

Meanwhile, the two horses are set to lock horns on the 10th of 2022, which can also turn out to be the title decider.
