A Super Sunday clash between West Ham and Liverpool the two top-four sides. Having a neutral’s point of view it turned out to be an amazing game. A five-goal thriller at the capital brought to the end of Liverpool’s unbeaten strike.
Liverpool came into the game sitting at the third spot in the Premier League to face fourth-placed West Ham United. Thus, it shows that both sides were in splendid form.
The Hammers took an early lead in a controversial manner from the corner. And after the referee’s check, the goal stood and was adjusted as Alisson’s own goal.
Liverpool did come back into the game from the brilliant strike by Trent Alexander Arnold from free-kick to level things up before the break.
After the break, West Ham went on to score two more goals. Pablo Fornal made a good run into The Red’s defence and fires a low strike to make it 2-1.
While at the 74th-minute mark Kurt Zouma scored the match-winning goal for the Hammers.
Although Liverpool scored the second goal which turned out to be a mere consolation. But the goal was a brilliant strike from Liverpool’s emergency striker Divock Origi.
At the death, Klopp’s side almost scored the equalizer but Mane’s header was off target. It was a complete sitter which the Senegalese missed and that just sums up Liverpool’s day at the London Stadium.
The game showed everyone how good West Ham are currently and David Moyes has got a proper team.
Meanwhile, for Liverpool, they got beaten after seven months i.e. 25 games later. The last time Klopp’s side tasted a defeat was against Fulham on the 7th of March this year.
Thus, now The Reds heads into the International break at fourth place and surprisingly West Ham are in the top three of the Premier League table.

Liverpool’s defeat means the last unbeaten record comes to an end of this season. Thus, the winner of the current season will definitely not be an invincible team.
Moreover, after 11 League meetings, Hammers registered their first win against Liverpool.

So, yeah, first half completely in control of the game, anyway 1-0 down because of a set-piece. We scored the equaliser – a wonderful goal – and were really in control and in charge of the game. Obviously West Ham play really good stuff this season but today it was a bit more like the old West Ham – sitting deep, going for set-pieces and counter-attacks.

I think it’s a clear foul on Alisson, how can it not be? The arm from Ogbonna is there. I really don’t know who was VAR today.
The VAR had a look and said not clear and obvious, I don’t know why. And here’s the goal, which is really strange.
Then, I saw only the situation with Aaron and Hendo now and the way I saw it now, it’s a clear red card. There’s actually no discussion possible and, again, I don’t know how.

It’s all about the ref, it’s all about the ref. The ref is always right. I don’t know, it’s not man-marking, it’s blocking the goalkeeper. That’s what teams do. The goalie has no real opportunity to sort that situation because if he pushes a player away [and] makes himself space then it’s a foul of the goalie and that’s then a different problem

Liverpool players will move into the International break for their respective national team duties. Thereafter, on 20th November, Jurgen Klopp’s side will welcome Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at Anfield.
