Vitezslav Jaros set on leave on loan again till the end of the season

According to recent reports, Liverpool academy goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros has left the Reds camp to join Notts County on loan until the end of this season.

This comes after Vitezslav Jaros returned from a nine-month spell with St Patrick’s Athletic. At the Irish club, he won the FAI Cup and was named the club’s Player of the Year.

In 39 games for the Irish club, Jaros kept 13 clean sheets and conceded only 41 games. (Stats taken from Transmarket.co.in)

Jaros is yet to make his debut for the senior team. However, he did feature in a friendly against Tranmere Rovers in 2019-20, coming off the bench to replace Simon Mignolet.

Vitezslav Jaros leaves for Notts County

Vitezslav Jaros has also played for the Liverpool under-21’s in the Football League Trophy last season. He also played an important role in the 2019 FA Youth Cup final. In that game, playing alongside Neco Williams and Rhys Williams, they beat Man City to lift the trophy.

According to the Notts County head coach Ian Burchnall, the 20-year old will compete against Sam Slocombe for the starting berth.

Burchnall also added,

Vit (Vitezslav Jaros) comes very highly recommended to me by a friend at Liverpool and Michael Doyle has taken a number of very good references from Ireland, so we’re delighted to have him here.

Goalkeeping is one of Liverpool’s biggest strengths right now. Not only do they have one of the best goalkeepers in Alisson Becker, but also the exciting young talents of Caoimhin Kelleher and Marcelo Pitaluga.

They also have Brazil’s legendary goalkeeper, Claudio Taffarel, as one of their coaches.

Hence a game in the first team looks highly improbable for Vitezslav Jaros in the recent future. However, he is an exciting young player to watch. We do hope he develops into a great football player in the future.
