Liverpool captain Virgil Van Dijk is set to guide the team to the Premier League title this season. The 33-year-old had a brilliant season across all competitions this season.

The Dutch international also signed a new two-year contract with the club will keep him at Anfield till 2027. Recently, Van Dijk revealed what he wants from the Anfield crowd.

Lots of speculation was going on around the future of Virgil Van Dijk before the Dutch international signed a new contract with the club. The Premier League title this season will be the second Premier League title for the Liverpool defender.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot is also very happy as Van Dijk has chosen to stay with the club until at least June 2027. The 33-year-old is a very crucial member of the team.

However, Virgil Van Dijk recently admitted the importance of all the Liverpool fans and how crucial their support is. He said,

“It really can make the difference, and I can’t wait to see, hear, and feel you all. You have a part to play.

So be loud and be proud. Get to the stadium early and give us your support. Make the place a sea of red, a wall of noise.

Sing your hearts out and let’s do this together.”

Virgil van Dijk, the Liverpool captain, along with the whole team, is set to taste the joy of winning another Premier League title on Sunday.

This will be his second Premier League title, along with other major trophies, including the Champions League with the Reds.
