Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is ‘pretty sure’ about one thing post Leicester win

Liverpool’s returning hero, Trent Alexander-Arnold, scored the only goal of the match to secure all three points for Liverpool against Leicester City.

The 26-year-old sent the Foxes back to the championship, taking the Reds much closer to the Premier League title.

Liverpool are now only one win away from winning the Premier League title this season after beating Leicester City by 1-0. Both teams struggled to score goals after creating lots of chances.

However, ultimately, Liverpool star and England international Trent Alexander-Arnold scored a goal in the 76th minute. That ultimately made the difference between the two teams.

After coming on in the 71st minute as a substitute player, Arnold needed only 5 minutes to make his mark.

First left-footed goal for Trent Alexander-Arnold

The 26-year-old has been out of the Liverpool squad since getting injured on March 12 in the Champions League last 16 against Paris Saint-Germain. After coming from the injury, this was the best comeback for him.

Arnold scored the winner for Liverpool on this day with his left foot. This is Trent Alexander-Arnold’s first left-footed goal in his professional career. Scored 23 goals in his professional career so far, this is the first with his left foot.

After the match, while talking about his performance and his goal, he said,

I’m pretty sure that’s the first left-foot goal in my career – it has taken a few years but I got there in the end.

That’s probably the one type of goal I’ve been missing but I saved it for the right time, being so close to winning the league now.

One win away now, it’s very close. And to do it especially with fans here as well is a very, very special moment.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to leave the club at the end of this season upon the expiry of his contract. However, it is still not clear as the player is yet to make his final decision.
