Although the reunion of both ex-LFC players could not happen on the pitch as Lucas is currently out of action, due to a heart problem discovered during a pre-season medical test.

Suarez netted his first goal for the Porto Alegre in only 5 minutes. Throughout the match, the Uruguayan showed his class and his hat trick made the Brazilian side win the match.

Back in PL

The Uruguayan joined the Reds side way back in the 2010-2011 season. He stayed with the Merseyside club for four years and then moved to Spanish giants Barcelona.
