Another European night at Anfield and yet another win for the former Premier League champions. Liverpool welcomed Porto for their 5th UCL group stage clash this season, let’s have a look at the match highlights and see how the Reds made it 5 out of 5.

The kick-off whistle blew and Porto looked all set to get the 3 points as they started with a lot of intensity. However, Liverpool had other plans on the night and thus they were able to some up the pressure. Jurgen Klopp’s tuition classes were reflected by Liverpool’s second-half display on the field. Thus, soon after the break at the brink of the 52nd minute, Thiago strikes the ball right in the Dragons right bottom corner. With this, Liverpool now had broken the deadlock and were looking lively to score another one. And right at the brink of the 70-minute mark, the Egyptian (Mohamed Salah) produced another brilliant finish. This gave Liverpool a 2 goal cushion and there was no way back for FC Porto now.

With this, Liverpool were able to maintain their perfect record by winning all the group clashed so far. The Reds will now be preparing to welcome Southampton for their 13th Premier League clash this season.
