Roberto Firmino can join the ‘Liverpool’s 100’ Club as the Reds seek away victory
Liverpool will finish their Premier League away schedule this evening at Southampton. The Reds have taken 40 out of possible 54 points in the away fixture telly. Also, the match can see Roberto Firmino join the ‘Liverpool 100’ club.
Keeping the Title Race Alive
This is a do-or-die game for Klopp’s men. A win here would see them one-point shy of City. And the title race would go to the last wire. Where Liverpool would be hoping the Citizens to drop points against their club legend’s team Aston Villa.
Win here will be really historical one as well. Thus, Liverpool will tie their second-highest ever tally of away league wins in a single season.
They will equal their highest total of away goals in a single season if they score five goals, having scored 48 in 2013/14.
If they score twice, they will have 550 goals in the league under Jurgen Klopp and moreover, they will reach 250 goals in away league games.
Firmino to join the elite ‘Liverpool 100’?
Roberto Firmino is two goals away from becoming the 19th Liverpool player to score 100 goals in all competitions in his career.
Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah from the current squad are among the remaining 18, with Divock Origi coming closest to the Brazillian.
Firmino has already scored twice against Southampton, with both goals coming in victories at St Mary’s.
Some Statistics before tonight’s trip to St Mary’s

Invincible Konate
The French wall is yet to suffer defeat wearing the Liverpool shirt. Unreal!
Liverpool would be travelling to St. Mary in search of a win to put pressure back on the Manchester giants. And more importantly to keep the ‘quadruple’ hopes alive.
