What a thrilling night at Molineux. The Liverpool fans bows down to the one and only super-sub Reds legend Divock Origi as Klopp and co. defeats Wolves by the barest of margins, let’s have a look at the match highlights.

The game started with a lot of intensity from both ends despite playing again just after 2 days. Liverpool’s in-form trio was always going to be a threat for Wolves but The Wanderers defended brilliantly throughout the game. The birthday boy Diogo Jota was up against his former club and got a few really good chances in the first half but unfortunately couldn’t score. On one side the Portugues missed some free header chances while on the other hand, Trent missed out on a volley from a delightful ball in from Thiago.

Meanwhile, Wolves were unable to create many chances in the initial half. Thus, the first half sums up with a scoreline of 0-0.

Wolves vs Liverpool: Match Highlights

The scored half kick-off saw the Reds all charged up while Bruno Lage instructed his players to counterattack. Thus, Wolves were creating chances but failed to remain on-side. While on the other hand, Jota was given a birthday gift on his Wolves return but he failed to take it in the Reds shirt. As goalkeeper Jose Sa was off his lines to clear the ball but got tangled into his defender and Jota was offered an open goal but he couldn’t manage to put the ball back off wolves defenders.

Thus, as the game went on some tired legs were to be subbed off. As a result of which Liverpool made their super-sub take on the charge in the name of Divock Origi. Just at the brink of the 94th-minute mark, Salah’s magical fets came alive with a beautiful touch to roll the ball in the Wolves box to deliver Origi. The rest you can catch in the video above as there are no words to explain what happens next.

With this, Liverpool now jumps on to the second spot in the Premier League table.
