Liverpool are flying in the Premier League as they thrashed Everton by 4 goals to 1 last night, let’s look at the player ratings.

We can say 4 is Liverpool’s favourite number. The Reds are bossing almost every team, who rewrote history with a stunning 18- game goal-scoring streak.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were a complete masterclass, thanks to goals from Henderson, Jota and a brace from Salah.

Everton vs Liverpool: Player Ratings

Goal keeper and Defenders

Allison (GK) – 8/10

A handful of excellent aerobatic claims and prompt delivery. The Brazilian was expecting to get a clean sheet, but still, the Toffees deserve a consolation.

Trent Alexander Arnold (RB) – 8/10

Appreciation for his attempts on goal and also made quick recovery runs in defence. Moreover, he was responsible enough to keep the right flank intact in the second half.

Joel Matip (CB) – 8/10

Oh, Matip, we were expecting an early goal lead from your chance, should have cushioned it in. Might be sloppy when Everton tucked one in, nevertheless, kept his stability in the second half.

Virgil Van Dijk (CB) – 8/10

Is he the Messi of defenders? –  was tripled-marked during set pieces, yet was still creating fuss for the opposition. Won significant aerial battles.

Andy Robertson  (LB) – 8/10

Awesome cutback for the first goal, and he stormed efficaciously while defending firmly against Townsend. The clearing of the header induced the third and set up the fourth. Likewise, Booked for his challenge too.

Midfielders

Fabinho (CDM) – 9/10

They had no idea how to get the ball past, off, or even beyond him. In the centre of the pitch, the Brazilian illuminated the Reds. Tactically strong for the most part, but rather too innocent of pushing through in the first quarter before reforming himself in.

Jorden Henderson (CM) – 8/10

Simply, man of the match performance from the veteran. An absolutely stunning finish! Did pass in on the wrong foot, but with total calm and guidance. It was also an assist for the second goal, which set Mo open. This season, he has probably hit his peak half in the No. 8 position. Moreover, ran on the pitch like Kante.

Thiago Alcantara (CM) – 7/10

One of many Liverpool players to attempt a shot in the first half, and he used the ball well. Subsequently, booked and subbed

Forwards

Sadio Mane (LW) – 8/10

He was threatening in possession, like his peers forwards, but he wasn’t on the ball so much in the first half until breaking loose in the fourth.

Diogo Jota  (CF) – 9/10

Flew in and out of the contest with a purpose, took a pain one from Allan, and did turn and managed to finish beautifully for the fourth goal. At last, subbed.

Mohamed Salah (RW) – 9/10

Petition to give Salah a contract extension, yes, please! Over with an elongating volley in the opening stages and brilliantly stashed his first goal. Afterwards, in the later half, he multiplied his threat and ran straightforwardly to finish second.

Subsitutes

James Milner (CM) – 6

Came on for Thiago in 74′. Several good tackles and quick passes. Indeed, It’s great to see him having fun on the field!

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (CM) N/A

Came on for Henderson in 82′. Klopp cautiously handles Thiago’s gametime for a few minutes. Indeed, a Pragmatic step.

Takumi Minamino (CF) N/A

Came on for Jota in 88′. It’s great to see more people getting involved. However, for the ribbing, would have preferred Origi to be on.
