Thus, this resulted in Chalobah making a mistake which eventually led to gifting the ball to Mane, who gave the Reds an early lead into the game. Moving on, Liverpool were always looking dangerous while they were steaming for a counterattack. On the other hand, for Chelsea, it was more of keeping the position. While running on the right wing was Mohamed Salah, who scored a beautiful goal from a tight angle to beat Mendy on the near post and gave Liverpool a two-goal cushion.

Meanwhile, the Blues fans were fired-up seeing their side 2 goals down on their home turf. Thus, Chelsea started their attack, resulting in two back to back excellent goals. Meaning it was all square after the first half in a thrilling encounter.
