Luis Diaz is spending some time in New York, as his partner shared snaps on Instagram of the couple’s holiday.

Liverpool’s Champions League win against Ajax on Tuesday was the last footballing action for the Reds for the month. After the Reds’ trip to Chelsea is postponed and the remainder of the league matches will be followed up after International Break.

For the upcoming international break, 28 Liverpool players have been called up to represent their countries. Luis Diaz, a Columbia International has been included for the fixtures to take place in Mexico and Guatemala at the end of the month.

Limited police resources ahead of Queen’s funeral on Monday, resulted in further postponements of matches. The postponement resulted in the Liverpool squad some time off before players head off for international duty.

With the postponement of games, Luis Diaz has taken the opportunity to visit New York and spend some time there.

Liverpool’s No.23, his partner, and their young daughter were pictured in some of New York’s beautiful sights.

However, It’s unclear whether any of Diaz’s teammates were also afforded time off this week.

The 25-year-old, a key player for Klopp’s squad has started impressively in a Liverpool shirt following his January transfer from Porto to Anfield. Having started all the games for Liverpool this season so far, it appears the club hierarchy has granted him early leave ahead of his Columbia duty.

Columbia’s clash with Guatemala takes place in the early hours of next Sunday before they face Mexico three days later.

Moreover, after the international break, Liverpool are to face Brighton on Saturday, October 1, as Premier League will begin. Furthermore, with Liverpool’s early struggle into the season, Klopp rates highly about Daiz to turn around the club’s fortunes this season after the break.
