Jurgen Klopp comments on the injury of Firmino and the Possibility against Everton
The Boss recently has spoken to SkySports and given them a heads-up regarding the player, He said
Bobby (Firmino) was not involved because in the very last situation of the City game he got something on his foot, It’s not really bad.
When asked will the attacking midfielder be available for the Merseyside Derby,
He stated,
We hope so
It would be crucial for Klopp to manage the players’ workload in the ‘demanding period’ of the next few weeks and months.
He further spoke about the player’s scans
Actually, we were a bit worried but the scan was fine. But it’s still very painful and that’s why there was no chance
It makes more sense to rest the player and seems the right decision, seeing the ‘upcoming variety of important fixtures’.
Liverpool would be taking on their neighbors Everton which is an important game for both teams.
As the Reds look to further up their ante at the top, and Everton who are currently battling against an unfortunate relegation.
Already having world-class players, the Liverpool attack looks quite intimidating, and with Bobby back it could just add more fire-power.
