Liverpool eyeing to bring down the title race much closer. Let’s take a look at the Liverpool vs Leeds United team news as the Reds welcome The Peacocks to Anfield.

The original tie was set to take place during the festive period in December. But the game got postponed, because of a Covid-19 outbreak in the Leeds camp.

Klopp’s men will surely be eyeing to bring back the equation to just three points lead for Pep’s side at the top.

Injuries

Diogo Jota

Diogo Jota damaged his ankle ligaments against Inter Milan in the Champions League tie last week. Moreover, the extent of the 25-year-old’s injury is still unclear, but surely he will miss out in the midweek clash.

Roberto Firmino

Jurgen Klopp has hopes of Diogo Jota’s return for the EFL Cup final. But now Liverpool are facing another spell without Roberto Firmino.

The Brazilian replaced Jota at half-time against Inter Milan and scored the opening goal for the Reds. But Firmino reported a muscle issue after the game which also let to miss the Norwich tie last weekend.

Suspensions

Liverpool have no players suspended for this upcoming game against Leeds at Anfield.
