Verified by David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool sign Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea Academy citing the club’s track record of developing young talent as a major contributing factor.
Ngumoha Set To Join Liverpool
Rio Ngumoha from the Chelsea Academy is set to join Liverpool according to confirmed reports from renowned journalists David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano.
The 2008-born player is expected to join Liverpool according to Romano who made the announcement on his X account.
Earlier in the week an agreement was made public. Ngumoha had interest from a number of teams but he signed with Liverpool’s Academy instead.

In The Athletic David Ornstein went into further detail about the move stating that Ngumoha chose to leave Chelsea and accepted Liverpool’s offer.
The British writer emphasised how Ngumohas’s choice was influenced by Liverpool’s track record of developing academy players.
Among the notable players to come out of Liverpool’s academy is Trent Alexander-Arnold the vice-captain at Anfield and a winner of numerous major awards.
Academy Excellence
A number of Liverpool academy alums have made their debuts and helped the team win things recently including the Carabao Cup under manager Jurgen Klopp.
The Anfield team’s ability to consistently promote young players is one of the main factors luring talented players like Ngumoha in.
