The UCL nights are back let’s have a look at the team news for Liverpool against Benfica for the home game. Jurgen Klopp has some great news regarding the squad for all the Reds supporters.

Liverpool will be taking Benfica in the Second Leg of the Uefa Champions League Quarter-finals, after winning the first leg comfortably by 3-1. The game is going to take place on Wednesday, 13th of April.

Liverpool V Benfica – Team news

Here is the team news for Liverpool v Benfica,

Benfica will travel to Merseyside for their match against Liverpool. They would be looking to overturn the first-leg deficit and cause a big upset in the quarterfinal second leg.

Liverpool Team – Injuries:

The great news that manager Jurgen Klopp had was, that the ‘Whole Liverpool’ Squad would be available for the Benfica game. As things are understood, there are no injuries in the Liverpool first-team squad.

Liverpool – Suspensions:

Liverpool players currently do not have any ‘Active Suspensions’ as well going into the Second Leg. Star forward Sadio Mane and Midfielder Diogo Jota were currently on the brink of suspension, had they received a yellow card in the previous game.

After both the players had a clean game, they would be eligible to play in the Second Leg game.

Choice of plenty for Klopp

With the whole squad at his disposal, manager Jurgen Klopp will have plenty of options available. This is a very rare situation in modern-day matches, for all players to be fit where-in the games come thick and fast.

Liverpool is coming back from a good game against Manchester City in the Premier League. Although the game ended in a 2-2 stalemate, there were lots of positives for Liverpool from the match.

Predicted line-up for Liverpool

Manager Klopp could be seen using the same 4-3-3 formation for the upcoming match;

Alisson;

Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson;

Keita, Fabinho, Jones;

Salah, Firmino, Diaz

With Liverpool having an upper hand, going into this match it would be interesting to see if Klopp ‘chops or changes’ a player or two.
