As a possible Mo Salah substitute, Liverpool are considering Jarrod Bowen of West Ham, in an attempt to increase their attacking options. Liverpool’s new manager Arne Slot may go after Bowen in light of Saudi Arabia’s interest in Salah.
New Incoming Managers
With new managers Julen Lopetegui and Arne Slot respectively West Ham United and Liverpool are ready for the 2024-25 Premier League season.
The summer transfer market is going to be extremely important in forming these teams’ squads as they get ready for the new season.
Although Moyes’s departure from West Ham seemed more expected, Slot now has a big job to fill after Jurgen Klopp’s unexpected departure from Liverpool.
Which players will remain and which ones will depart is a major topic of interest with talk centered on Mo Salah of Liverpool and possible successors.
Jarrod Bowen To Liverpool Talks
Recently discussing on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport, former West Ham coach Kevin Nolan suggested Jarrod Bowen as a potential replacement for Salah at Liverpool. He said,
“Mo Salah, if you want me to condense it, Salah out and Bowen in.
Football moves on, doesn’t it?! Fast!“
Kevin Nolan Suggested that Jarrod Bowen would be the perfect fit for the role of Mo Salah’s successor.
Hammers’ Talisman
Jarrod Bowen is an asset that West Ham needs to hang onto especially as they look to compete in Europe and Premier League again.
Although there is a compelling case to be made for Bowen to play in the Champions League West Ham’s current standing may make it more difficult for them to hold onto him.
Their goals under Lopetegui’s new management may be hampered by the departure of important players like Bowen.
In order to assemble competitive squads for the forthcoming campaign West Ham and Liverpool will both have to overcome these obstacles as the summer transfer window opens.
