Liverpool are ready for a busy transfer window and as reports suggest, Liverpool have confirmed their end-of-season list of players they want to release. The list’s main inclusion is Divock Origi.

The summer transfer window is just around the corner. And the Reds have a lot to do this time.

Contract extension of players like Salah is the Reds’ main task. While bringing in Mane’s replacement is a task that they will be looking to accomplish in the best possible way. Darwin Nunez is the most sought-after player and is wanted by everyone at Anfield. While Nkunku is also kept as one of the options.

But to bring in players, there will be some departures.

Anfield hero Sadio Mane will definitely leave Anfield. While there are 7 other players which will bid farewell to the club.

Liverpool wants to release 7 players

The biggest name on the list is Divorck Origi.

Origi’s departure was already imminent. His teammates presented him with a guard of honor following the season’s last home game.
Loris Karius follows him out the door. He did not play for the club since the 2018 Champions League final when he suffered a game-changing concussion.

Liverpool will also release high-profile academy graduates Ben Woodburn and Sheyi Ojo. The youngsters were heavily tipped during Jurgen Klopp’s early years in charge.

Woodburn, the club’s youngest-ever goalscorer, played his last season on loan with Scottish club Hearts. While Ojo signed with Millwall in the Championship.

Elijah Dixon-Bonner has also been released, as has attacker Luis Longstaff and right-back Sean Wilson.

Moreover, there is no word on which players have been offered new contracts or had their scholarships extended as of yet.
