The news comes off the back initial offer for the right-back from Forest has been turned down.

Liverpool are looking for a fee of around £15 million to be persuaded to sell Williams. But so far, there are no reports indicating an agreement between the two clubs has been found.

With his obvious talent and World Cup this year, Williams will want to be part of the first-team playing regularly. With no future in the Liverpool first-team, the Welshman will force to move away.

Despite his reports of transfer, Williams was listed in arrivals for the beginning of Liverpool’s pre-season training on Monday. However, he was not present at the training.

With multiple clubs showing interest and being linked, it will be intriguing to see who meets the price tag set by Liverpool for the Williams. But surely, this transfer could go until the latter stages of the window.
