Liverpool Players ratings revealed in the EA Sports FIFA 22
EA Sports has revealed the ratings of the Liverpool players for the FIFA 22 edition. Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk were among the highest-rated players for Liverpool.
The first reveal of the top 22 players featured with Liverpool players Alisson Becker, Virgil Van Dijk, Sadio Mane & Mohammed Salah. Meanwhile, the Liverpool duo Andy Robertson and Trent Alexender Arnold were also featured in the Premier League best 11.
After revealing the best of Premier League XI ratings, EA has now revealed the ratings of all the Liverpool players for the FIFA 22 edition.
Before we go into the FIFA 22 ratings, let’s have a glimpse at the 2020-21 season for Liverpool. The Reds started the Premier League Campain as the defending champions.
In the Merseyside derby, the Reds suffered a huge blow in the name of their prolific defender Virgil Van Dijk. Thereafter, following the injury of Van Dijk, the injury tale begun for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Thus, midfielders were given the name of centre-backs to fulfil the place vacated by injured players. A fairy tale of title defence soon converted into a story of season survival.
In the Premier League, many doubted whether the team would be guaranteed a UEFA Champions League(UCL) spot or not. With an injury-time winner from the custodian Alisson, assured a spot in the UCL next year.
With Liverpool winning the last 5 games, the team were placed at 3rd position. However, the Reds were eliminated in the Champions League in the Quarters by Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Comparision of ratings of Liverpool players in FIFA 22 from FIFA 21
Players with rise in their ratings:
- New comers Thiago and Jota are given a rise in theier ratings from the previous edition.
- Thiago was rated at 86 as compared to 85 in the previous publication.
- Whereas, Jota who had shown impact as a goal scorer is rated at 82 as compared with 80 in the previous year.
Players with no change in their ratings:
- The full back duo – Trent Alexander-Arnold & Andrew Robertson who featured in the FIFA 22 Premier League XI were rated at 87.
- Meanwhile, Joel Matip and midfielder Alexander Oxlade-Chamberlain retained 83 and 79 respectively.
- Moreover, reserve goal keeper and the Super Cup hero Adrian ragained his rating as 74.
- The new addition to the defence Ibrahima Konate rating remained sticked to 78.
Players with a drop in their ratings:
- 14 players featured among the 22 list were downgraded this year.
- Among the players who were rated 90 Alisson, Sadio Mane, Mo Salah & Virgil Van Dijk were downgraded by 1 point.
- Loris Karius ratings were down by 3 points. Roberto Firmino, Henderson, Takumi Minamino & Tsimiskas ratings were down by 2 points.
- The remaining players ratings were being reduce by a point each.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table alongside Chelsea and Manchester United. Moreover, their victory against AC Milan in the midweek show signs of improvement.
