With Sepp [van den Berg], Liverpool were in here the other day for a full day, watching what we do and how we go about it,

We definitely have to plan for the future without them until told otherwise,” he concluded, because they aren’t our players,

Sepp van den Berg’s statement

You never know, but I reckon after this season that it, unfortunately, has to come to an end.

Meanwhile, the footballer told in February, dismissing the possibility of a longer stay at Preston.

With Joe Gomez only making 14 appearances so far this season, his questioning to move out would not be surprising. Despite two years being left on his contract, he might look for other options.

However, it’s now up to the player himself to decide the best for himself while keeping all options in mind.
