“The deal is close to being done. Liverpool are in talks to get that done. It’s obviously a strange one with the young kids because you’re trying to agree on a few terms to avoid a tribunal. Liverpool are keen to avoid that, but they’re confident this will get done. There’s excitement around this lad, and they think he’s a big talent.”

Alvin Ayman has already shown his potential by playing for Wolves’ under-21 side and representing England at the under-17 level, despite being just 16 years old.
