Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is still a potential summer target for Liverpool. Graeme Bailey claims that the Reds may sign the Dutchman on a temporary basis this summer.

Speaking on the Talking Transfers Podcast, Bailey made it clear that the Reds are a huge fan of the 20-year-old.

As per reports, the Merseysiders could sign him on loan with an option to buy this summer, Bailey claimed that Liverpool sees Gravenberch as a potential first-teamer.

Star Dutch midfielder could join Liverpool on loan with an option to buy

George Bailey shared his insights on what he knows about the £16m rated midfielder.

“Suddenly he has some big Premier League options. Liverpool like him a lot, they see him as first-team. Liverpool really need these midfield reinforcments.

It’s a player they really like who is coming on the market and it’s a no-brainer for Liverpool. I think they’re looking at him and it could be a possible loan as well, maybe a loan with a view.

It ticks a lot of boxes for Liverpool,”

Bailey said.

Ryan Gravenberch has the potential to be a truly outstanding football player in the future. However, Liverpool fans won’t be happy if he signs a one-year loan deal this summer.

Even though he has great potential, the Reds need a long-term solution to their midfield problems not a temporary one.

The issues in the midfield have caused the Anfield faithful to endure a truly awful season. Also, if those issues are addressed with a loan signing, the fans will revolt.

As per Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern are thinking to keep hold of Gravenberch for the time being.

Of course, if he does remain in Munich that would be a blow for Liverpool, who have also pulled out of the race to sign Jude Bellingham.

As per the fans, FSG must now put their money in the transfer market and sign a deal on a permanent basis.
