Liverpool has suffered a blow in their chase of German star, Karim Adeyemi. The young lad features for Austrian champions RB Salzburg and has had a good time there. However, he now prefers a move back to his homeland to continue his career in Germany.

Adeyemi boasts of scoring 11 goals and having 2 assists to his name in 16 games for the Austrian side in this season. Thereafter, he has grabbed interests from German clubs, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. The German prodigy is having an overall count of 21 goals and 17 assists in 66 games for Leipzig across all competitions.

The 19-year-old young German star has thus grabbed attention from across Europe. The asking price for him is around 34 million and this should be reasonable for big teams looking for him. Since he hails from the Bayern academy we can guess that this lad will surely turn out to be a wonder-star.

Will Liverpool be able to pull out a move for Karim Adeyemi?

Karim Adeyemi’s contract with RB Salzburg does not end until 2021 and has already been called to the national side. He will feature for Germany in the World Cup qualifiers against Romania and North Macedonia.

Karim Adeyemi turns out to be a prolific striker who could definitely fit well in Klopp’s plans. He will also add pressure and give a healthy competition to Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota. Liverpool already have a deadly trio up front and the addition of this lad will make it all the more lethal.

It should not be a problem for Liverpool’s management to spend 34 million in getting Karim Adeyemi. Since they have not spent much in the previous two windows, they will definitely give their best shot this time.

He would surely turn out to be a threat to opponents in the Premier League under the grooming of Klopp. If he jells in well sooner with The Reds, they will definitely try to unleash him as soon as possible.

Adeyemi’s move to Anfield is only possible if the German teenager wishes to play outside his homeland. But looking at the recent reports the boy wants to play in the German league i.e Bundesliga. However, the world of football is full of uncertainties and thus nothing could be said for sure.
