Liverpool are flying in this season unbeaten till now. However, as the team is preparing to bring in some players in the upcoming transfer window, Liverpool have set their eyes on the 17-year-old Polish wonderkid Kacper Kozlowski.

Kozlowski had established himself as the leading player for his side Ekstraklasa team Pogon Szczecin. He registered one goal and three assists in 20 games in the last term.

His play saw him earn a place in Poland’s Euro 2020 squad. He is the youngest player ever to feature in the tournament. Moreover, he was also linked with the rivals Manchester United during the summer windows. However, Liverpool is in pole position to get his signatures in the upcoming January transfer window.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool is leading the race ahead of teams like Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan, Redbull Salzburg, and RB Leipzig to sign Kozlowski.

In the current season, the Polish young prodigy has two goals and one assist to his name from 8 games.

Liverpool could become homeland for wonderkids like Kozlowski

Currently, Liverpool is a team that has been a household for wonder kids. Thus, Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott, who had already shown a great promise this season, had been listed in the Top 50 wonder kids according to Soccerment.

The duo had been working as crucial players in the team. The emergence of Curtis Jones in the last few games has proven how things are shaping up for the youngster. Another example of how Liverpool nurtures the youngsters is the instance of Trent Alexander-Arnold. The right-back has already become a key to Liverpool’s success. Moreover, Trent is now well known for providing a record-breaking number of assists along with Andrew Robertson.

Kaide Gordon, a 16-year old English footballer, had recently featured in the League cup tie against Norwich City. While Caoimhin Kelleher, who is the current teams’ reserve goalkeeper, has received lots of praise for his work as a Liverpool goalkeeper.

It will be an exciting addition if Liverpool adds Kacper Kozlowski to the ranks. As the Liverpool academy knows how to turn slivers into gold.
