Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool was greeted with a vocal welcome on Saturday ahead of their Carabao cup final.

The squad arrived in London on Saturday afternoon and was greeted by fans at the hotel. The fans were loud in their support of their stars.

Liverpool get a noisy welcome before Carabao Cup Final

Liverpool have put themselves out in the Carabao Cup this season. Looking for the missing domestic trophy, the club has gone all the way in the competition.

The Reds showed their depth in the tournament. Youngsters to starters to fringe players, all played a part in the cup run this season.

However, Jurgen Klopp will have a selection dilemma ahead of him. He is allowed to name only 20 players for the game and will have to leave four out.

This is despite 24 players training at Kirby on Friday. Even though only 20 players will take part, all squad members have travelled to London.

One of the players spotted in the hotel was Diogo Jota. Jota’s injury made him a doubt for the final, but it seems he may have recovered before the final. While Jota might not start, he will certainly be on the bench for Liverpool.

Diogo Jota however has not confirmed his place in the squad. All he said was,

I will be there anyway, supporting the team if I am not playing.

Roberto Firmino is a confirmed miss for the game due to a hip abductor issue. Kaide Gordon, the youth prospect, is also set to be on the bench instead of the Brazilian.

Joe Gomez and Curtis Jones could one of the few to miss out. The duo have been in and out of the team recently and they could miss the Carabao Cup final for Liverpool.

It will be interesting to see who Jurgen Klopp names in the final eleven. Who would make your final eleven for Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final?
