Jurgen Klopp is known for his astounding signings for the Reds. Such similar news again made the headlines as rumors are floating about the Liverpool manager, who is willing to sign the Moroccan star midfielder Sofyan Ambrabat.

The 26-year-old midfielder is getting praise all around the globe. It is so for his brilliant performance with Morocco in their dream run to the semifinals. He caught the eyes of some of the biggest European clubs with his impressive performance against France.

Liverpool to bid for Sofyan Ambrabat in the January transfer window

Jurgen Klopp has been looking for a midfielder for quite some time now. One of the big reasons for Liverpool’s not-up-to-mark performance this season was their midfield gameplay. According to reports from Mirror, the Reds manager finds the Moroccan midfielder impressive and wants to sign him. Also, ex-Man United star Gary Neville also finds the player “outstanding”. Moreover, Sofyan is preferring to move to Premier League and wants to play for the Reds.

Ambrabat currently plays in Serie A club Fiorentina. The Italian club wants to extend his contract with the club after his World Cup performance. Sources said that Klopp has already held talks with the Fiorentina man. Alongside Liverpool, another English club Tottenham also wants to sign him.

Hinted to play in Atletico Madrid

The midfielder is getting linked with clubs all around Europe and also to Spanish clubs Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. The Moroccan says the news is quite overwhelming. He had some words of appraise for Atletico coach Simeone. Recently he said:

“I’m proud to be linked to top clubs like Barcelona and Atletico. But I’m a Fiorentina player, I respect the club and I’ve a great relationship with the president”. Simeone? We have a good coach at Fiorentina too but… yes, I like El Cholo’s [Simeone’s] style [of play].”

Reports suggested that the Merseyside giants are planning to bid around 40 million Euros for Ambrabat. Klopp has already been doing talks with the player and the bid has been put on the table. He has also already met with the midfielder’s agents. Looks like Klopp is eager to sign him soon into his team. Ambrabat is in every club’s demand right now so let’s see where the Moroccan hero will be moving.
