Latest updates on the injury of Mohamed Salah

An early report on Mohamed Salah knee injury describes it as ‘minor’, which is very good news for both Liverpool and their fans.

Mo Salah Injury occurrence

After four minutes of scoring his 20th Premier League goal of the season in a win against Brighton on Saturday, The No.11 had to be pulled off due to a foot problem, but the Boss believes he will be fit for Wednesday’s visit to face Arsenal.

Despite missing Monday’s training session at Kirkby, Klopp stated in his pre-Arsenal press conference that Salah would be back with the team on Tuesday.

Salah will take part in a session before a final decision will be made on his availability for the crucial clash at the Emirates.

Asked if Salah will be involved in the squad, Klopp said on Tuesday:

It looks like. Mo is a tough cookie, We were quite lucky with it. It was swollen and painful, and yesterday a little bit less swollen and less painful.

Update on Salah injury from the Egypt FA

Prior of Klopp’s press conference, The Egyptian FA spokesman Walid El-Atar said that Salah’s injury is “minor” and that he will be fit to play Senegal later this month,

The national team medical staff are always in contact with Salah and [the] Liverpool medical staff,

I can say that his injury is minor and it will not prevent him from participating in Senegal games.

On March 25 and March 29, Egypt will face Senegal in two World Cup playoffs, with only one place at the competition in Qatar up for grabs.

Meanwhile, at the moment the Egyptian’s focus will be on Liverpool’s next game against Arsenal. Thus, Klopp will be hoping that the 39-year-old could start against the Gunners, who are currently red hot form. As the Reds boss said we will have to wait and see how he progresses in the training.
