Napoli Firm On Kvaratskhelia Future Amid Liverpool Interest
Napoli manager Antonio Conte has revealed his intention to keep winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in Napoli this summer.
Several clubs are interested in bringing Kvaratskhelia to their clubs, Liverpool being one of them.
Liverpool have been linked to Kvaratskhelia and have been looking to bring the winger to Anfield this summer.
Napoli Make Firm Decision On Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Future
Amid interest from several clubs, Napoli have made it clear that Kvaratskhelia is not for sale this summer. New Napoli manager Conte revealed his firm intention to keep Kvaratskhelia in Napoli.
Conte in his press conference said
“There are no doubts. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia stays here and he will play for Napoli. There are no doubts, it’s all clear. Kvara will stay here with us”
Napoli’s President Aurelio De Laurentiis said,
“There are clubs that make proposals to players with no authorization from the club, it’s illegal.
In that club, there’s the president of ECA, but I’m not even surprised about those things in football. I’m always correct”.
Napoli’s stance on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is clear they don’t want him to leave.
Liverpool who have not made any signings so far under Slot were reportedly interested in signing Kvaratskhelia. Kvaratskhelia would be a great option in case Luis Diaz was to leave.
The 23 y/o old has impressed fans and rivals with his exceptional skills. Kvaratskhelia has also impressed in the Euros with Georgia.
Kvaratskhelia caught the eye of several LFC fans after that performance against the Reds in 2022.
Apart from Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City are also keen to sign the winger.
