Jurgen Klopp and FSG have a hot and cold relationship. According to reports Liverpool’s arch-rivals are waiting for the Red’s boss if FSG had other options in mind.

The Merseyside giants are having a disastrous domestic campaign, currently sitting 10th in the table, and are a whopping 11 points off the Champions League places as it stands.

Saturday’s embarrassing 3-0 loss at Wolves made it just one win in their last seven games in all competitions. During that time they have lost to Brighton twice, once against Brentford and of course the latest one against the Wanderers.

Jurgen Klopp handling FSG and their negligence

These performances are caused due to lack of depth in the squad and overusing of existing players. FSG has not allowed any addition of midfielders in this transfer window.

Liverpool are also out of FA Cup and League Cup, although they do face Real Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League.

But the former striker Stan Collymore fears the worst.

He told Caught offside

“The reality is, if FSG sack Klopp, there is no one else out there better equipped to do a better job. So anyone calling for him Jurgen should be careful what they wish for because I’m certain that if he suddenly became available, you’d have Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and even Chelsea all lining up.”

Despite those comments, Collymore still believes Klopp deserves more time to get things back on track.

He added

“I still don’t think Jurgen Klopp should be facing the sack at Liverpool. I know they’re having an awful season but we need to look further back than just the past six months.”

“Remember where Liverpool were when he came in -they were a real mess!”

“Klopp single-handedly changed all of and went on to win every trophy possible.”

But still the question remains, will FSG trust Klopp?
