Liverpool are expected to make a signing of an attacker, and many players were been linked in the last summer’s transfer window. Thus, West Ham United midfielder Jarrod Bowen has become one of the top transfer targets for Liverpool next summer.

With Liverpool’s front three approaching the age of 30 and after the departure of Xherdan Shaqiri this summer, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is believed to be looking to strengthen the squad with the addition of a new attacker.

The 24-year-old has been featuring for Hammers regularly since his 20 million move from Hull City in January 2020. According to reports from the British citation Independent, Jurgen Klopp wants to bring Bowen to Anfield.

How will Jarrod Bowen fit in the Liverpool Squad ?

Klopp likes versatile players, who can fill different positions in the team and adjust as per the situation demands. Thus, Bowen is exactly what the Liverpool boss is looking for as he can play in multiple positions.

The West Ham attacking midfielder currently plays at the right-wing position. Moreover, he can also play the role of a striker, right midfielder or central attacking midfielder.

With Divock Origi likely to leave any time soon and Takumi Minamino yet to prove his worth, Bowen can be a very useful addition to the Reds squad.

Bowen can be one for the future as he is young and already familiar with English top-flight football. Just Like Sadio Mane, who use to play at similar positions at Southampton was not quite as effective. As the Senegal international hitting only 11 goals as his best record with The Saints But under the coaching of Klopp he went on to become a top-notch player.

Similarly, Liverpool can snap up Bowen and turn him into a world-class player under Klopp’s management. Thus, Bowen could prove to be an awe-inspiring signing for the Reds. Moreover, if Liverpool wants to continue fighting for the titles, Klopp knows they need more quality depth in their squad.
