The 17-Year-old is currently training with Liverpool.. Marshall-Rutty is a young promising player who has the ability to play at different positions. In his days at Toronto, the young right-winger has played as a right-back, Centre forward, and centre midfielder.

Many European clubs have shown interest in the young Canadian. Toronto’s former general manager Ali Curtis described Marshall-Rutty as incredibly talented. Any transfer to European clubs has to wait because he is 17 and doesn’t hold a European Passport. He has to wait till he turns 18 to get an official move to Europe.

Even though he has to wait till June to turn 18, MLS Soccer believes that a verbal deal can be done before the next transfer window. If Marshall-Rutty impresses Jurgen Klopp during his stay at the AXA training. He could possibly sign a deal next summer. The Reds are currently in a strong position to sign the young forward when he is officially available to move to Europe.
