Jude Bellingham and Jordan Henderson were questioned about playing together at Liverpool after helping England defeat Senegal at the World Cup.

Bellingham led to Henderson’s first goal in Sunday’s 3-0 triumph. In this, he set a quarterfinal matchup between England and France.

The Three Lions’ victory was a statement victory. And Liverpool fans saw it since it included both their captain and the team’s top target.

While in Qatar, their romance has drawn attention. And Henderson and Bellingham have frequently raved about one another in interviews.

However, Bellingham joining Liverpool in 2023 is still off-limits, as Norwegian broadcaster TV 2 Sport learned after the game.

Henderson and Bellingham laugh off the Liverpool question

Henderson said:

“I’ve said it many a time: he’s a one-off.

We need to let him enjoy playing football. He’s only 19, so let him enjoy playing football.

Jude’s been incredible [not only in] this tournament but for a long period of time at Dortmund.

He’s carried it on into this tournament. And hopefully, he can just keep going from strength to strength, keep working, keep doing the things he’s doing and being a big player for England.”

And Liverpool in the future? It was then posed to the pair in response.

The youngster playfully remarked, “You’ve ruined it for all of them now. You’ve ruined it, man!” as Henderson and Bellingham hastily left the interview.

No more questions were asked, leaving the rest of the assembled media to see the couple laugh it off.

But does fire have to be present for there to be smoke? So let’s hope!

England will be facing France. Moreover, it would be the biggest clash of this World Cup yet. Furthermore, both teams have been firing this World Cup. And they have all their big stars in red-hot form. Moreover, the match will be intense, with both teams playing with absolute caution. Thus, tighten your seat belts for a topsy-turvy ride.
